How to make a whiteboard animation video

Pick a size and a template
Choose YouTube 16:9, Shorts 9:16 or square. Start from a blank board, or open one of the ready-made templates — question hooks, fact cards, comparisons, step lists, timelines, big numbers, checklists and more.
Add your text and images

Do I need to download or install anything?
No. WhiteboardVid runs entirely inside your browser, so there is nothing to download and nothing to install. It works on Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iPad.
Is there a watermark on the exported video?
Videos exported on the free trial plan carry a small watermark. Paid plans export without it.
Can I make whiteboard videos in Hindi?
Yes. Both Hindi (Devanagari) and English handwriting-style fonts are built in, so your text is drawn onto the board with a handwritten look in either language — or both in the same video.
Can I add my own voiceover?
Yes. Upload an MP3 narration track and it is included in the exported video. You can also set an ending delay so the last frame holds while your audio finishes.
Does it work on a phone?
The editor has a mobile layout and works on phones and tablets. For longer videos a laptop or desktop is more comfortable, simply because the canvas is bigger.
Who owns the videos I create?
You do. Videos you make are yours to use, including on monetised YouTube channels and in commercial work.
How long can a video be?
